Why Am I Having Ejaculation Problems?

Retrograde, Diminished, Premature & Delayed Ejaculation Finally Explained!

As men age and the prostate enlarges, oftentimes the urinary channel and the ejaculatory channel get restricted, leading to diminishment in the ejaculatory fluid, as well as the decrease in the force of ejaculation. Treatment for Diminished Ejaculation may be Testosterone Replacement or medication such as HCG.

Some men experience Retrograde Ejaculation, which is when the fluid goes back into the bladder as opposed to exiting outwards. Often this related to medications like Flomax or Avodart, and where medically feasible we try to get men off these medications and provide a treatment such as the UroLift Procedure.

Some men may finish too soon, known as Premature Ejaculation, and often times a spray such as Promescent can extend the time of ejaculation, or medications such as Tramadol or Dapoxetine can help with premature ejaculation.

Another difficult and frustrating problem men may experience is called Delayed Ejaculation, sometimes caused by medications such as SSRI’s, those used for depression.

Dr. Gary Bellman advises all men with Ejaculation Problems, to seek out a reputable physician that is experienced in Men’s Health conditions and who regularly and successfully treats these issues.
